Shroofin’ Cowboy Cookies

Shroofin’ Cowboy Cookies

Shroof’s very first cooking recipe! We’re super excited to share this with our fellow Shroofers. This recipe is obviously inspired by Cowboy Cookies, but it was also Shroof founder’s “Favorite Kindergarten Recipes” (a school project in kindergarten). Without further ado, let’s get into the recipe.

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons Shroof

¾ cup vegetable oil

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ½ cups of oats

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl beat oil and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.

Whisk in flour, baking soda, baking powder, Shroof and salt. Stir in chips and oats.

Mixture will be thick – so we’d recommend using a cookie scoop. Bake for 15 minutes.

This recipe makes about 36 cookies.
