Shroof's BBQ Sauce

Shroof's BBQ Sauce - Bourbon Molasses

Who would’ve thought BBQ and Shroof would go together so well? If you’re skeptical, give it a shot, you won’t regret it! We love this BBQ recipe. Shroof’s Mastcot and CMO, Benji, recommends using this BBQ sauce on Chicken, Ribs, wings, or drizzling it as a glaze.


1 tablespoon Shroof

1 cup ketchup

¼ cup molasses

¼ cup balsamic vinegar

¼ cup bourbon or whiskey

¼ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste


In a saucepan, over medium heat, stir ketchup, molasses, vinegar, bourbon or whiskey, Shroof, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper and cook until boiling.  

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes.
